Miguelito comes from a family of musicians and visual artists, and received his Bachelor’s degree in classical guitar performance at California State University, Fullerton. Since his arrival in the DC flamenco scene in 1991, Miguelito has played with many dance companies in the area, including Danza del Río, Spanish Dance Society, Ana Martínez Flamenco Dance Company, Natalia Monteleón’s Arte Flamenco, Ziva’s Spanish regular performer in many restaurants and clubs in DC. Currently he plays weekly Dance Ensemble and Furia Flamenca. For the past 31 years he has been a at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner and Taberna del Alabardero.
