BAGPIPER NORM

About the Artist

Norm has played the bagpipes for more than 30 years and over 2000 events in the last 10 years in Virginia, Maryland, DC and Alaska. He plays the traditional Highland Pipes,(great for outdoors) as well as softer Session and Small Pipes (great for indoors). He has had the honor of playing for the funeral service for Tim Russert from his home in Buffalo, and the Northern Virginia memorial for Princess Dianna. He performs frequently in Arlington National Cemetery and has performed on the DC Mall with Il Divo.

For the last 28 years,  he has been a member of the Washington Scottish Pipe Band, pipers to the Washington DC St. Andrews Society and Clan Gregor USA. He has enjoyed playing for great variety of gigs including weddings, funerals, anniversaries, church services, community celebrations, corporate and professional society events, private parties, military events, school programs and graduations. It has been a treat to play in a wide variety of settings; from the National Cathedral, individual homes, on the beach in Homer, AK, to inside Luray Caverns. He would enjoy using this experience to create a unique performance for your special event. Available for piping during the week and on weekends.
