Jimmy Nalley started his entertainment career as a keyboard player, singer and leader of his own band in the DC Metropolitan area. He has performed as a member of Motown Legend–MARY WELLS’ band as well as other nationally known artists such as JOHNNY TILLOTSON and KING CURTIS. He was also a USO entertainer with tours in Europe and North Africa. During his playing days he developed the show biz work ethic: THE SHOW WILL ALWAYS GO ON and the organizational skills necessary to keep a performing group together and sounding good for up to 280 shows each year.
Along the way he has always been the MC and singer in his bands. Jimmy’s experience operating the sound system for his bands and maintaining his musical equipment has provided him the valuable technical understanding that keeps things in tip top working order from week to week. The ownership of his own local recording studio rounds out this perfect preparation for his professional DJ career. Among his recording clients he lists NILS LOFGREN (Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street band member) and PAUL REED SMITH (one of the nation’s foremost Guitar manufacturers).
His 1991 degree in Radio, Television and Film from the University of Maryland adds yet another dimension to this entertainer’s experience. After a brief couple of years in the real estate business and other entrepreneurial endeavors, in 1993 he used his entertainment experience and talents to start his new but not unfamiliar career as a Karaoke Host and Mobile DJ. Since that time, he has performed at nearly every major venue in the Baltimore-Washington area. In one year, Jimmy has performed as many as 314 shows including Weddings of all sizes, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Karaoke Shows, and an assortment of Corporate Parties, Anniversaries, and Birthday and Holiday celebrations.
The musical knowledge and entertainment experience he brings to every event helps to make each one an overwhelming success. Referrals and glowing references are never a problem for Jimmy. He always leaves the guests asking “Where did you get that DJ? We have to have him for our own upcoming event!”

“We used Bialek’s for both the ceremony and reception, and everything was rather flawless. We had Jimmy Nally for our ceremony, and he played the exact songs we wanted played along with some pre-ceremony music that I didn’t have too much of a preference over (but was also perfect). Michael Valenti was out reception DJ and he was great! He called me prior to the wedding to go over details and had a really neat online form to fill out that consisted of wedding party and family names, requested songs for certain dances, a must-play and do-not-play list, timing, and more. That form was a great idea and very helpful. Michael had everyone on the dance floor for the entire evening, and played each of our must-play songs perfectly. I have no complaints and would definitely use Bialek’s again!”
