Established in 1999 The Groove Spot Band & Show has provided music and entertainment for over 15 years. Our genre includes Motown, R&B, Soul, Pop, Jazz, Rock and Blues. We are a versatile group of musicians that easily adapts to ever changing audiences and occasions. We provide a wide range of music at affordable pricing and can be booked in various combinations – from 4 to 5 musicians to as many as eleven.
The Groove Spot Band & Show specializes in weddings, corporate functions, private parties, festivals and concerts emphasizing on strong, soulful vocals with solid instrumentals with the sole purpose of getting people on the Dance floor. Thus the reason this band has become a crowd favorite and quite famous for getting crowds on the dance floor and more importantly, for keeping them there. Where to start? EVERYONE who attended the reception was simply in AWE and kept asking where I found this band! The band and singers performed flawlessly and were very professional. There were so many people dancing at times that there wasn’t any space left on the dance floor to accommodate any more! All vocalists were amazing, but the lead female singer (Ondrea) literally blew everyone away. The band played right up until the last people were left at the reception and remained as professional and energetic as from the start of their performance. Very eager to please, very professional, and very friendly people! I recommend them without hesitation. Thanks to the Groove-Spot Band & Show!

A big and loud “Thank You!” from me and Nicole. You have 185 new fans after Saturday night, and Nicole and I are going to evangelize for you guys for any parties or events that we hear about. You were absolutely brilliant – from the opening three songs, which absolutely set the tone for the night all the way through the slow dancing, the ad libbed pop songs (Blurred Lines into Marvin Gaye!), to the final notes accompanying Jed on his freestyle. Your sound and arrangements, your versatility and complete facility with all the music we wanted to hear, your showmanship – it was all superb and everything we hoped for. Beyond that, you were a pleasure to work with, and Vance, you in particular showed so much concern for making Nicole and I comfortable and happy. Thank you. We cannot say enough. This band is amazing! They were a highlight of the wedding and they rocked the party! The band was professional and dressed impeccably. Their Motown sound was spot on and their renditions of contemporary music was also great. I would highly recommend this group to anyone who is looking for a band to energize a party.
